2 Corinthians 12:12

When Paul looked back at his time with the Corinthians, he didn't point to a highlight reel. He pointed to perseverance. The proof that God was at work wasn't just the miracles—it was that he kept showing up, year after year, through hardship and opposition. Sometimes endurance itself is the greatest wonder of all.

Most of us will never perform signs and wonders, but every one of us will face seasons where quitting looks easier than continuing. The prayer that goes unanswered, the child who wanders, the marriage that takes work, the job that drains you. In those moments, simply staying faithful is a sign that God is real in your life.

So ask yourself honestly: where am I tempted to give up right now? Don't overlook the power of showing up one more day, praying one more prayer, loving one more time when nobody claps for it. God often does His deepest work through people who refuse to walk away.

Remember, endurance isn't about gritting your teeth in your own strength. It's about leaning on God's strength one small step at a time. Steady faithfulness may not make headlines, but heaven notices, and over time it becomes the clearest evidence of Christ in you.

Father, give me the strength to persevere when I want to quit, and help me trust that my faithfulness matters to You. Work through my steady, quiet endurance in ways I cannot see. In Jesus' name, Amen.
