A simple question helps: Does this draw me closer to Jesus, or quietly pull me away? Ask it before you watch something, before you enter a relationship, before you dwell on that thought. Purity is less about a list of rules and more about staying faithful to Someone you love.
And when you notice your heart has drifted — and it happens to all of us — don't sit in shame. Just turn back. The promise still stands, and the One who loves you is not going anywhere.
Dear Lord, help me guard my heart for You today. Show me anything that's quietly pulling me away, and give me the courage to let it go. I want to stay faithful to You alone. Amen.
