Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies and God of all comfort,

2 Corinthians 1:3 · Healing
Reflection 1

Everyone carries some kind of hurt — grief, illness, a broken relationship, a disappointment that lingers. Our instinct is often to push through alone or numb the pain with busyness. But this verse reminds us that God invites us to bring our wounds straight to Him.

Reflection 2

Today, try naming your pain out loud in prayer instead of glossing over it. Tell God exactly where it hurts and ask Him to meet you in that specific place. His comfort is not just a nice feeling — it is His real presence with you in the middle of it.

Reflection 3

God also comforts us through people, so let someone in this week. Send the text, make the call, or accept the help you have been refusing. Receiving comfort is not weakness; it is trusting God's way of caring for you.

Reflection 4

And once God has comforted you, you become a channel for it. Keep your eyes open for someone walking through a struggle you have survived, and share a word of hope with them. The comfort He gave you was never meant to stop with you.

Prayer

Dear Father, thank You for being near me in my pain and for offering mercy when I need it most. Heal the places in me that hurt, and help me pass Your comfort to someone else today. Amen.
