1 Samuel 12:16

Standing still doesn't mean doing nothing out of laziness. It means trusting God enough to stop the frantic worrying, the endless searching for answers, and the fear that says everything depends on you. Sometimes the most powerful act of faith is simply being quiet before God and expecting Him to move.

Today, try this: set aside a few minutes where you literally sit still and pray, "Lord, I'm watching for You." Write down one situation where you need His healing touch, then hand it over and refuse to pick the worry back up. When fear creeps in later, remind yourself that God is already at work, even when you can't see it yet.

Healing rarely arrives on our schedule, but God is never late. He asks us to watch with open eyes and an open heart, because what He does will be undeniable. Stand still today—not because you're giving up, but because you know Who's fighting for you.

Dear Lord, I choose to stand still today and trust You with the places in my life that need healing. Quiet my anxious heart and open my eyes to see what You are doing. I believe You are working, even now. Amen.
