1 Kings 1:40

When Solomon was crowned king, the people didn't celebrate quietly. They made music, shouted with joy, and their celebration was so loud it shook the ground. That's a picture of God-given joy — it's too big to keep bottled up.

Most of us do the opposite. We feel grateful in our hearts but keep it to ourselves, worried about looking silly or drawing attention. But joy that's never expressed starts to fade. What you celebrate out loud grows stronger in your soul.

So today, let your joy make some noise. Thank God out loud in your kitchen, sing in the car, or send a friend a text about His goodness. Small acts of expressed joy can lift the heaviness off your own heart — and someone else's.

And remember, your joy doesn't depend on perfect circumstances. It flows from knowing who reigns over your life. Even in a hard season, you can lift your voice in praise and watch how it changes the atmosphere around you.

Dear Lord, thank You that Your joy is stronger than my circumstances. Help me celebrate Your goodness out loud today without holding back. Let my joy bring hope to someone else. Amen.
