Love didn't start with us. It started with God, and every time we choose to love someone, we're simply passing along what He first gave us. That means loving others isn't just a nice idea — it's evidence that His life is really growing in us.

Real love shows up in ordinary moments. It's a text to a friend who's struggling, patience with a child who keeps asking questions, or a kind word to a cashier having a rough day. None of these take much time, but they carry God's heart right into someone else's day.

Here's the challenge: there's probably someone in your life who is hard to love. Maybe they've hurt you, ignored you, or simply rub you the wrong way. That person is exactly where this truth gets real. Loving easy people is easy — loving the difficult ones is where God's power shows up in you.

So today, pick one person and love them on purpose. Pray for them, encourage them, forgive them, or meet a need they have. Don't wait until you feel like it — act first, and let God supply the feeling.

Dear Lord, thank You for loving me first, even when I didn't deserve it. Help me love the people around me today with that same kind of love, especially the ones who are hard to love. Let my life show that I truly know You. Amen.
