1 John 4:12

It's easy to wonder how we can love a God we've never seen. John gives us a beautiful answer: God shows Himself to the world through the way His people love one another. When you love someone well, you make the invisible God visible.

That means love is not just a feeling—it's your everyday witness. The patient word you offer a difficult family member, the meal you bring a tired friend, the forgiveness you extend when it costs you something—these are the ordinary places where God's presence becomes real to people.

So today, look for one person God places in your path. Maybe it's someone easy to overlook—a cashier, a neighbor, someone at church who sits alone. Ask God to let His love flow through you to them in a simple, practical way.

And don't worry about doing it perfectly. God's love is being grown to fullness in us, which means it's a process, not a performance. Every small act of love is a step in that journey, and He is with you in each one.

Father, thank You for loving me first and for making Your home in me. Help me love the people around me today in ways that show them who You are. Make my life a place where Your love can be clearly seen. Amen.
