Sometimes we walk around carrying guilt that God has already dealt with. Jesus did not just cover some of your sins—He paid for all of them, once and for all. When shame whispers that you have gone too far this time, remember the price was paid in full.

And he is the atoning sacrifice for our sins, and not for ours only, but also for the whole world.
Practically, this means when you mess up today, you do not have to hide from God or punish yourself first. Come to Him honestly, confess it, and receive the forgiveness that was already purchased for you. Guilt that keeps you at a distance from God was never His plan for you.
But this truth also stretches us. Jesus did not die only for people who are easy to love—He died for the whole world. That includes the person who hurt you, the coworker who gets under your skin, and the family member you would rather avoid.
So today, ask God to help you see difficult people through the eyes of the cross. Maybe that means finally releasing a grudge you have been holding, or praying for someone instead of resenting them. The forgiveness you have freely received is the same forgiveness you are now able to give.
Dear Lord, thank You that Your forgiveness is big enough for me and for everyone around me. Help me stop carrying guilt You have already paid for, and give me the courage to forgive others the way You have forgiven me. Amen.
