But notice the tenderness here: John doesn't say that failing means you're finished. He says when we stumble, we have Someone standing before the Father on our behalf — right now, not after we clean ourselves up. Jesus is already speaking for you.

So often our instinct after we mess up is to hide. We skip prayer, avoid church, or sit in shame for days. But hiding never healed anyone, and shame keeps us at a distance from the very One who can restore us.
Reflection 4
So today, practice honesty with God. If you've fallen, name it plainly and bring it to Him without excuses. Then receive His forgiveness fully and get back up — grace isn't a permission slip to keep sinning; it's the strength to start again.
Prayer
Dear Lord, thank You that even when I fail, I don't have to hide from You. Help me live in a way that honors You, and when I fall, teach me to run to You quickly instead of running away. Amen.
