God's wisdom often looks backward to the world: serve instead of climb, tell the truth even when it costs you, choose integrity over advantage. That is not weakness. It is trusting that God's simple, honest way will outlast every clever plan.
So today, pause before you reach for the world's playbook. Ask yourself, 'Am I leaning on my own cleverness, or seeking what God says is right?' Then take the honest, humble road, even when it feels slower. You do not have to outsmart anyone; you just have to walk with God.
Dear Lord, forgive me for the times I have trusted my own cleverness more than You. Give me the courage to choose Your wisdom today, even when it costs me something. Teach me to walk in Your simple, honest ways. Amen.
