We live in a world that rewards being seen and heard, so it feels strange to have a spiritual life nobody witnesses. But God isn't looking for a performance. He understands what is happening in your spirit even when no one else does, and even when you can't fully explain it yourself.
So here's a practical step: set aside time today for prayer that is only for God's ears. Maybe it's in your car, your closet, or on a quiet walk. Talk to Him freely and let the Spirit lead, whether that comes out as words, sighs, or something deeper than language. The goal is connection, not polish.
When you make room for this kind of prayer, something shifts on the inside. Worries start to loosen their grip because you're reminded that you are fully known and fully heard by God. Let this private time with Him be the hidden root that keeps everything else in your life standing strong.
Father, thank You that I can come straight to You, spirit to Spirit, with nothing to prove. Teach me to treasure my private time with You above everything else. Draw me deeper into Your presence today. Amen.
