Have you ever felt frustrated because you just couldn't figure something out? Maybe it was a hard decision, a painful season, or a question about God that seemed to have no answer. Here is some freedom for you today: you were never meant to know everything.
That means it is okay to say the words 'I don't know.' You can love God deeply and still have unanswered questions. In fact, admitting the limits of what you know is one of the most honest and humble things you will ever do.
This should also change how we treat other people. When someone sees a Bible passage or a life situation differently than you do, remember that they, like you, are working with partial understanding. Hold your opinions loosely and let grace lead your conversations.
And when life stops making sense, don't let the unknowns keep you from obeying what you do know. God has given you enough light for the next step. One day everything will be made clear, but until then, we trust the One who sees the whole picture.
Dear Lord, thank You that even though I don't understand everything, I can trust You with what I cannot see. Help me stay humble with my opinions and patient with my questions. Teach me to walk faithfully with the light You have already given me. Amen.
