Think about today: who is testing your patience? Maybe it's a coworker who keeps dropping the ball, a child asking the same question for the fifth time, or a spouse who left the dishes again. Patience means taking a breath before you react. Kindness means choosing a gentle word when a sharp one is sitting right on the tip of your tongue.
This verse also warns us about comparison. When a friend gets good news, envy whispers that they don't deserve it or that life isn't fair to you. But love celebrates out loud. Text that friend a genuine congratulations. Cheer for someone else's win today instead of keeping score.
