1 Corinthians 13:13

At the end of his famous chapter on love, Paul names three things that last: faith, hope, and love. Faith comes first for a reason. It's the doorway everything else walks through. Without it, we can't even begin to know God.

Here's the good news: faith isn't reserved for super-spiritual people. It shows up in ordinary moments. It's choosing to pray instead of panic when the bills pile up. It's showing up at church when life feels heavy. It's trusting God with your kids, your health, and your future even when you can't see the outcome.

Notice that faith doesn't stand alone. Hope keeps us moving forward when answers are slow, and love keeps us connected to the people right in front of us. When your faith feels weak, do something hopeful and loving: encourage a friend, forgive someone, serve your family. Often faith grows strongest while our hands are busy loving others.

So here's a simple challenge for today: pick one thing you've been anxiously trying to control. Name it, hand it to God in prayer, and take one small step of trust instead of worry. Faith isn't a feeling you wait for. It's a choice you make, one ordinary day at a time.

Dear Lord, thank You that faith, hope, and love never fade away. Help me trust You today in the small, ordinary moments instead of carrying everything myself. Let my faith show up in how I love the people around me. Amen.
