Let's be honest: life comes with a lot of fog. We make big decisions without all the facts, we walk through losses without clear answers, and we keep asking why. Paul reminds us that this is normal for now. Not seeing everything isn't a sign that your faith is broken — it's just part of being human on this side of heaven.
So today, practice releasing the pressure to figure everything out. When you hit a question you can't answer, instead of spinning in frustration, try saying quietly, "God sees what I can't." That's not giving up — it's handing the whole picture to the One who actually holds it.
This verse also changes how we treat people. If your view is dim, so is everyone else's. The coworker who snapped at you, the friend who let you down — they're stumbling through the same fog you are. A little humility about our own blurry vision makes grace a lot easier to give.
And here's the hope that holds it all together: one day, the fog lifts. You will see clearly, and you will be seen clearly. But even now, you are fully known by God — every confusion, every unanswered prayer, every hidden part of your story. You don't have to understand everything to be completely loved.
Dear Lord, thank You for knowing me fully even when I understand so little. Help me trust You in the fog and show grace to others who are seeing dimly too. I rest in the promise that one day I will see You face to face. Amen.
