We live in a world that prizes cleverness and hustle. When life gets hard, our first instinct is to think harder, plan better, or push ourselves further. But Paul reminds us that for those who belong to God, the answer isn't a strategy - it's a Person. Christ Himself is where God's wisdom and power live.
Think about a decision you're facing right now. Before you poll your friends or scroll for answers, take a moment to bring it to Jesus. Ask Him what love would do, what honesty would look like, what path reflects His heart. His way often seems too simple or too humble to the world, yet it carries real strength.
The same goes for the things you feel too weak to do. Maybe it's forgiving someone, breaking a bad habit, or simply showing up again today. You don't have to manufacture the strength on your own. Christ in you is God's power, which means His strength is available when yours runs out.
So here is a simple step for today: before one task, one conversation, or one tough choice, whisper a quick prayer and invite Him in. Ask for His wisdom for the how and His power for the doing. Then watch how He meets you in the ordinary moments.
Living this way changes us. We stop performing and start depending. We stop chasing the world's version of smart and strong, and we rest in the One who is both.
Father, forgive me for the times I've leaned only on my own understanding and strength. Today, make Christ my wisdom in every decision and my power in every weakness. I want to walk through this day depending on You. Amen.
